Another fine example of Council Sponsored Nobart. This may look like a normal traffic bollard during the day, phallical-y functional, but otherwise out of the ordinary. But by night it doubles up as a signpost! As soon as the streetlights appear so does the dong like shadow, always pointing the same way, directly to the pub. A Boozer Beacon guiding drunken nobs to where they need to be!

Tin Machine
This nobby tin machine is a municipal ticket dispenser and a perfect example of the wang-by-angle ("wangle") phenomenon. The machine seems to have been shaped like a funky little rocket, like you imagined David Bowie's Major Tom to have...
Fortunately for Nobwatch, the slot where the machine releases it's load is positioned just so making it look more like a massive bell end.
Hallo Spaceboy!

Wanger-weathered wall
A magnificent example of the underexplored wanger-weathering phenomenon. Created by neither nobartist nor nobarchitect, a superbly crafted erect dong adorns an otherwise unremarkable post. Isn't nature wonderful!

Fresno's Double Directional Dong
Spotted by a Friend of the Nobservatory, this double directional dong doesn't know whether it's coming or going! The chubby main shaft strikes a powerful silhouette against the sky but the little down-drooper tacked on shows two sides to the story.
The Nobtower is located in Fresno, CA. It's apparently quite the tourist attraction and well known for being quite, er... thick. If you are looking for LA when you spot this, you need to head another 35 years west.

Fountain Phallus
No serious study of Nobart would be complete without a one eyed wink at Pompeii. This is the stuff that gives nobartists their validation! Possibly the only nobart to acheive listed status, Pompeii boasts streets lined with ancient wangers. Well worth a gander, and don't worry, unlike most nobart, this'll be around for a while yet.

Little Nobs of Sunshine
This photo was tweeted @NobWatch by Caitlin Cummins, spotted on a sunny day in Cardiff.
In these dark and miserable days of winter, there's nothing quite as cheering as this wonderful piece of NobArchitecture projecting its sunny little light nobs for lucky pedestrians to frolic among. This time specific piece is also weather specific, only visible under exactly the right conditions. So what of the NobArchitect? A genius? A prankster? Or completely oblivious? Whichever way, we love it.
Nice nobservation, Caitlin, the Nobservatory salutes you!
